Is that new or also new to you? I love my PPK/S, but was one of the ones made by…the other company (S&W). The first thing it did was go back to the manufacturer to make it work… My dad had a PP back in the day.

It’s both new and new to me. This is the new version made by Walther in the US. All issues from previous manufacturers have been corrected. I haven’t had any problems with it.

Reminds me, one time heard a guy say he hoped that when he dies, his wife doesnt sell his guns for what he told her they cost, but for what he actually paid

Personally my wife is only familiar with my EDC stuff cause that sleeps in our room at night.

James Bond would be proud. But, how close do you need to be, to get a good hit?

With practice you can hit things pretty far:

This is my first attempt at the “dark side”. Mounted it on a RIA 22tcm. Having trouble finding the dot. It’s real bad outside. Doesn’t seem bright enough and might have to get used to it being higher than the sight plane. Are they generally easy to see outside and maybe have a weak battery. Little insight would be appreciated. Thanks,
Ctaig

Hey Craig9, I misspoke above, its the Vortex VENOM, not Viper that I have. Sorry about that, I waffled for days over which one because they are so similar and still get them twisted. I edited my post above for clarity.

The Venom has been plenty bright for me, but its only been shot at indoor ranges and looked through around the house. It seems like it would be bright enough for outdoor use.

I picked up a Springfield Ronin Operator today.
I couldn’t help myself. I ended up getting paid back on a loan to someone and had a few bucks on me when I was in the shop.

Sorry it went upside down. Maybe I can fix that lol.

Fixed it!

What do you think? Leave the Springfield grip slabs or put on my custom USMC grips to honor my friends?

Put on custom USMC grips and post the picture

Okay @Jerzees! Let me pull them out and get my tools.
Picture tomorrow.

I like the grips of course, but there isn’t much difference to stand out between the crossed cannons and USMC.
I think I’ll put the standard ones back on and use the Marine grips on an old Llama 9mm 1911 clone that has not bad looking grips already too.

Did you look closely at the original? My FFL buddy and I thought they looked too much alike to be noticed easily.
I want them noticed for my Marine buddies.
