Let's see your new gun!

Well done, Sir!!

Lucky for me, the rxm does take double stack glock mags. I have plenty from my G17 and they feed fine. My mag holster for my G23 also fit the rxm mags. Saves money for other toys

Not exactly a new gun, I’ve had it for almost a decade since my stepfather passed away….

I did finally find a wall mount I liked and got it mounted.

Looks good, Will!

I have just over 100 rounds for it,… and like 20 empty casings from the one day we shot it.

Ammo is unavailable. I will need to have the brass reloaded or start reloading myself.

Not exactly a new gun, but a good deal on a .22 conversion kit. Merry Christmas to me. Last one I bought didn’t work in my rifle. Since this is Colt (branded anyway) it should fit in my Colt.

Merry Christmas @Sinbad!

Hope it works better than the last ones did :+1:

My new one is actually my first, given to me by my dad. Course I had to give it back when I informed him about Michigan law requiring me to apply for a license to purchase first (since I still need to get fingerprinted for my CPL).

The LTP got taken care of a few days ago, so this beauty is now officially mine.

A Beretta 96G Brigadier Elite 40cal S&W. Course it seems hard to shop for a specific holster or other accessories for a 96G (a decocker-only version of a 96 FS Full Size), compared to their 92 variants.

Congrats!

The whole license to purchase thing is a complete :ox::poop: infringement!!

The Italians still know how to make things beautiful, that’s for sure.

Agreed, but least we’re not Illinois.

Give 'em time, your legislators are working hard to catch up. Good luck there, and make your voice heard for your rights. There are some pretty loud anti-gunners in Michigan politics.

Hi,

New here. I just wanted to share a couple of my latest acquisitions, Sig 1911-X Freedom, S&W 686-6 Plus.

And most of my little collection…

I’m not sure what my next addition will be but I’m considering another Henry lever in .357 to match the .22 and share ammo with the Smith.

Thanks for letting me hang out. I’m still learning to navigate this forum. It’s a little different from others, but I’ll get used to it. Blessings to all.

Thank you for your indulgence,

Cliff

I put almost 200 FMJ rounds thru the FN Reflex XL this morning. I fortunately experienced zero light primer strikes, zero FTEs, and zero FTFs. FMJ ammo was Winchester, Blazer, Remington, and Magtech. At the end I tested 11 rounds of Sig V-Crown hollow points that were in my bag. All 11 rounds fed and fired perfect!

My Strikeman laser lied to me. It did indeed shoot a bit low and left in actual live fire. In its defense, my grip isn’t what it used to be, and I was more focused on putting a lot of rounds down range, so I was probably over compensating for recoil. My buddy also shot it and produced more bullseyes than I did. Bottom line is he and I were pretty impressed with it. I feel confident enough to start carrying it.

1st shot was the only photo today:

That’s great to hear.

I believe purchasers do not take the time to work their pistols in, especially with different grain ammunition and brands.

Seems that they run one magazine through it and if they have one malfunction then they get rid of it. Weak grip can cause failures.

You are 100% right! I believe many new range trip issues are due to lack of preparation.

Have you felt any change in the trigger after your first 200 rounds, as in staying the same or better?
