Let's see your new gun!

I would call it Glock like. There’s some take up, but the wall is hard and crisp. The reset is short as well. As for trigger pull weight, it’s avg is 5 lbs.

Yep!

I really like the 9mm Alpha Foxtrot Romulus (1911 DS), but the .45 Springfield Operator was unbelievable!
Will be returning to shoot the Operator a 2nd time this weekend. We’ll see if it was really that good, or if my MG just went into temporary remission. Either way, I liked it!

I recall seeing James reeves from TFB reviewing that gun. $220 for all that is awesome.

Picked up the RXM and ironically a vortex defender showed up also…weird how that happens.

The vortex is nice for a budget red dot. Comes with various screws for popular guns.

Ruger feels like a glock….but I like the suppressor height sights.

Thanks. After I get rounds down range with it, I might look at an aluminum frame for it. I believe its sharpes bros that make it. Kinda pricy at 300 but a real metal gun…minus the external hammer and safety but I guess you can’t get everything in life sometimes

That looks good, nice choice.

I’m tempted to get an RXM but I think I’m going to end up getting another slim line Glock instead. But I want an RXM…

I mean considering the rxm itself is just around $400 makes that upgrade a lot easier to swallow.

Part of me says its like throwing a $300 saddle on a $10 mare…..but damn it would be a nice saddle.

Nice thing of a rxm, its modular, many more modules will become available. Also being a gen 3 clone, for the most part, upgrades are plenty available. Gives alot of options.

It is to thick for my scrawny ass to carry and not print but I didn’t get it for edc. Its another house gun

1911 & 1911 DS. My new favorites!! Alpha Foxtrot Romulus 9mm and Springfield Operator .45.

And let me share the wisdom of my LEO brother (humorous) -

“As your brother, I feel compelled to warn you not to go down the 1911 pistol rabbit hole. I have seen many a poor soul sucked down that pit. There always seems to be a 1911 pistol that shoots better, has neater accessories, holds more or less ammo and made from better and/or lighter/heavier steel/alloys with longer/shorter barrels. Resist I implore you, Resist.”

I need another 1911 like a hole in my head!

Not gonna lie I’ve been thinking about that 2011 rabbit hole though……

Have I ever said I hate you?

Thankfully I’m not married or dating, so your advice falls on deaf ears there!
