Let's see your new gun!

Just picked up this cutie earlier in the week: S&W Bodyguard 2.0 .380 ACP. She’s stiff AF, a bit aggressively textured, and those sights are awful, but is a great size and weight for off-body carry. Easy to handle either hand, zero snap IMO. 120 rounds through and it’s starting to loosen up. Applied a Talon grip wrap, got a purdy Eclipse holster, and new sights are on the way. She won’t replace my Masada Slim, but she fills a niche for me.

Broke down and bought a G23 off of gunbrokers.

Not sure if im gonna carry it, just more for nostalgia reasons with them being discontinued and all.

The G23 was my first ccw, unfortunately had to sell it and go to a colt commander. I was fine with .40 but my wife would always limp wrist it and i wanted her comfortable to shoot what was in the house.

We were first starting out so money was an issue so had to let it go to recoup for the colt.

I will probably stick to my shield 9 for carry but it will be nice to have g23 back in stable

Picked up the G23 this morning and my FFL gave me 5lbs of tannerite . He had a store in my small town, didnt think it would last. Not a big gun market in this area. Most farmers stick to what they got. He still had tannerite left over from the store and asked if i wanted some.

Stupid question to ask a gun nut. I always have stumps to remove

This is my latest toy, the Pioneer Arms AK-47 in 7.62x39. This is the updated version with the Hammer Forged Trunnion. Fit and finish is excellent and zero issues in firing rounds. It’s one of the easiest things I’ve ever shot, and I’ve fired a lot of different weapons over the years. Teardown is almost stupid easy in its simplicity, assuming you read and watch a video or two if you’re unfamiliar, or want a refresher. No wonder the AK-47 is one of the most popular weapons on the planet. The price point is well worth the purchase (I got it for under $600 on sale but the current price is still a good one). The only thing I may do is get a wood grip to complete the full wood furniture look.

Yeah, I’d probably be satisfied for a while if I got a .50 too.

My wife and I were at our range/LGS a while back. I came this close to buying an AK as a boat gun. My wife was encouraging me. My bank account won out at the moment, and I never got it. I would have enjoyed it, but times got worse, and the boat is gone. Maybe I’ll still get the AK though. And another boat.
