My new Taurus TH45apc. Yep, a Taurus. Stellar reviews, thinner than a 1911, decocker, three sized backstraps & very light (28oz). Not real thrilled with the sights but already ordered new ones.

Awesome little revolver! I got the exact same for my wife. She tried several different guns and struggled between recoil of a J frame airweight .38 and slides on semi autos.

She uses the Federal Punch SD ammo. 13" of gel penetration from a 2" barrel, and a bullet that doesn’t fragment. With 8 shots on board, it’s a lethal little lightweight to carry anywhere, and use indoors without destroying your hearing.

She was so happy when she got it. She said, “I finally feel like I have MY gun!”

I don’t know about your wife’s, but the one I got is built like a swiss watch, with the most precise, perfect lock up of any revolver I’ve used. It’s a little jewel of a revolver. The trigger feels just like my .38 J framses, and she’s fine with the DA trigger.

Until they feel like they have their gun they wont practice, so it seems. Imo

My wife shot a 380 at the range, so we ended up getting her this one.

She loves it.

I have in my drawer a nice little M&P 380 my wife bought, but then found she couldn’t release the slide, her hand was so small. She gave it to me. It’s a great little shooter, and I carry it when I’m in Florida heat getting all hot and sweaty or out on the boat in the salt, as it seems indestructible compared to my EDC revolvers.

And, I’m glad your wife got something she loves. It’s a good feeling when you know she has the means to protect herself.

Yes, it is.

Yes, but Id still like her to practice more…as well as have a holster on her body insteaf of in her purse. Easier to get to, to use it possibly to protect herself.
