She’s right, I haven’t heard a blonde joke in years.

That’s because they’ve been replaced by “socialist” jokes. Have you heard this one?
“2 Socialists were walking down the street Their electric car was out of power and they couldn’t recharge them because they shut down all the fossil fueled power plants.”

Say what you will about AOC, at least she has a job she can fall back on.
There are a lot of politicians who can’t say the same.

Nice turn of phrase… oh, you meant “bartending”? :sunglasses:

Never underestimate the power of stupidity. Example: All of congress and the presidency.

These are the people that are most dangerous. She has no clue about much of anything but she is young and pretty and has a large group of less than intelligent social media groupies to support her. With no real idea of how to run things, she has been elected to run her district. Be very aware that this is how things go from bad to worse.

I will agree to young…

Do you know why Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez crossed the road?

Maybe because a chicken with it’s head cut off will run in any direction???
I don’t think she knows!

Is this a reference to her story about the Capitol riots, though it was later discovered she wasn’t even in the building?

“If you want to build socialism, choose a country that you don’t care for.”

  • Otto von Bismarck

I just ran across this Bismarck quote. It made me smile because I was thinking of Margaret Thatcher’s famous quote; the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other peoples’ money.

But then I realized something about U.S. socialists… maybe it’s our own country they don’t care for.

They don’t.

This is kinda late, but at the very least she’s a weak, worthless, but harmful TWIT - at the other end of the scale, she COULD BE a thoughtless, dangerous CRACKPOT. Amen.

Sh1t, balancing a check book is hard! I haven’t done it for 40 years. I know the basics of how to do it but I found myself going in circles and with a headache.

What? Type “/sarc” when you make those types of comments.

Hopefully the type that will let you know to not take it personally.

I did not. I have no issues with checkbooks. Actually, I have not “balanced” one in about at least two decades. Everything is online now-a-days, and my balance is such I do not have any concerns about “balancing”, but I still verify credits and debits.
