I just ran across this Bismarck quote. It made me smile because I was thinking of Margaret Thatcher’s famous quote; the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other peoples’ money.

I did not. I have no issues with checkbooks. Actually, I have not “balanced” one in about at least two decades. Everything is online now-a-days, and my balance is such I do not have any concerns about “balancing”, but I still verify credits and debits.
