Leather vs kydex holster

So I was looking at buying a P365 and found a nice looking leather holster and then a kydex holster from Clinger. I was curious at people’s differing opinions on leather vs kydex. I only have kydex at the moment. And I have heard that leather can curl in with time and cause NDs.

Is anyone here familiar with this company? I’m considering getting a holster from them and would like to know if any of you have made any purchases from them. Are you happy with your holster from this company? What about the quality of the product? Customer service? Thank you Dan

Pure leather holsters will not have any retention adjustment or secure “click” - just simple friction. If well molded for the firearm, that’s probably enough for simple carrying. But it won’t keep the firearm in place if you flip it and shake.

I’d recommend Tucker Holster or JM4 Tactical. They have boltaron holsters (even better material than kydex) with leather inside liner. In addition they have 2 retention screws.
