Those on the left despise those of us who have worked hard for what we’ve obtained, a good home, a quality automobile and a way of life that they consider elitist. I ignore and do not respond to general consensus because he clearly is a troll parroting the left’s talking points. Of course, the left loves EVs thinking they save money and decrease our reliance on fossil fuels never acknowledging that the electricity required to charge those EVs required fossil fuels for generation of said electricity.

Can you imagine if all the people took responsibility for their own lives and that of their family… Lived within their means… saved for the future… work hard to better their station in life? What a wonderful world it would be.

I took a homeless person to lunch. We didn’t talk much; he was busy talking to himself. Personally, I thought it was sad that a country as wealthy as ours does not have adequate mental institutions to help these people. That is not communism; that is being a good human being. You should try it sometime.
Sorry no one helped you when you were homeless; too bad you were surrounded with people just like you.
I recognize the people who really need help and buy them a meal and also give out tents. Why? Because I can, and I recognize that most people who are homeless have mental issues. Like you when you were homeless, I would have recognized you have mental issues, just like I do now.

In what world should anyone have to work multiple jobs just so they can afford to live? How do you have time to raise your children if you are working 80 hours a week just to provide for them? If you want inner city parents to raise their kids not to be thugs, maybe pay them more so they don’t have to work 2-3 jobs just to keep the lights on and they can spend time with those kids. The rest of the civilized world requires these same corporations to pay living wages and they do just fine, asking them to do the same in the United States is not going to put them out of business.
Wouldn’t that comes with higher prices thus lowering the quality of life?

Yet these same corporations seem to do just fine in other first world countries that have a higher quality of life. The argument that fast food restaurants are places for teenagers to learn job skills ended when they all moved to 24/7 operations.

When I did it, I didn’t have time…. And still couldn’t afford child care if the wife worked,… so she was a stay at home mom, and I killed myself for their lives.
Amazingly, it was the same in the 1980s for families that weren’t independently wealthy…. And the 1900s coal miners undoubtedly didn’t toile in the mines because they enjoyed the work.
Nothing is new today except bleeding heart millionaires like yourself think that everyone above poverty line has the money to support the slightly less advantaged.
Maybe a $35 Big Mac and fries doesn’t bother you, but I stopped eating fast food when a value meal hit $10! I can’t afford that.
Another homeless camp burned the open space behind my work today….
I’m sympathetic, that sucks for them, but there’s nothing I can do about it.
