Wow! Not a good day for law enforcement.

Meanwhile, 300+ miles up north, a parole agent was shot and killed in the line of duty in Oakland.

That explosion initially seemed like it may have been a training accident as the report I read said tarps were draped over explosives trucks, but then there was a report of another explosion at a Sheriff’s office in East LA, so it is more likely to be a domestic terror act and likely related to the immigration issue. This will not help their cause. It will intensify the resolve and make more people demand swift action to remove these illegal aliens from our country. Also kick out all the ones born to illegals while at it, and revoke their citizenship.

I haven’t heard/seen reports of another explosion. Was anyone hurt or killed at that one?

Details are still scarce, but one aspect floated is that is was a tragic training accident.

In the world of (EOD) Explosive Ordnance Disposal, aka Bomb Squad work, “one mistake, and it’s no longer your problem.”

R.I.P. kudos to those who even have large enough stones to do a job like that. I have extreme respect to the military guys who dewatt ordinance. Nerves of steel.

One EOD Explosive Ordinance Disposal aka Bomb Technician said when ask about the anxiety level that goes with the job answered that his perspective about making a mistake is: Then it’s no longer his job; saying you can’t dwell on it, that just paralyzes you from being able to operate.

My question on the training accident was why was the explosives have the arming device on it? Usually its seperate and they arm it on the range.

I know, alot of details are left out for various reasons but just curious.

RIP to the fallen sheriff’s and be with their families
