He was arrested for having a Concealed Carry , with a Virginia permit. Maryland does not have reciprocity with any other states and does not recognize any other states permitting process.

Even through USCCA, MR. Kevin and Mr. Tom Grieve we all have been warned about the Gun Laws
and other state when traveling. I have 10 years of Northern Virginia, Southern Maryland, and good
