Is it really Road Rage, All of the time?

Lately, around here, there seems to have been a rash of Road Rage Shootings, or so I thought. After seeing this I started wondering how many times a “Road Rage” shooting was actually just a criminal in a car acting during the commission of another crime.

No. But it does happen often enough it would be a good coverup for murder.

It has always seemed to me that it depends on whether you relate to the guy doing 40 in the left lane, ro the army of people behind them trying to get on with their day.

Vote for me, and I’ll enact “common sense road control” measures.
Why does anybody need NASCAR anyways?

Personally, “road rage” sounds like a catch phrase, like “assault weapon”. It’s catchy, doesn’t require any actual knowlege or work to use in a headline, making it SOP for modern media types.

I’m curious, has anyone ever heard from the person that is actually accused of having road rage? Has anyone ever heard the would-be Road Rager say, "he or she had road rage, or why they were so angry? I wonder…about this road rage thing myself.
