I live in Nevada and have CCW permits for Nevada and Utah. I have to move to Hawaii in November for personal reasons and they are justs as unfriendly to gun ownership and CCW permitting as California. I would be interested in connecting with any USCCA members in Hawaii to help me navigate the registration of handguns, applying for a CCW, and the process of joining a shooting community to include ease of purchasing ammo and other accessories. Thanks!
Doesn’t look good. Also some links at the bottom of the article. Good luck.
It’s probably worse than moving to California. Good luck!
Hawaii is definitely worse than CA. Very unlikely you will be able to get a license to carry there and lots of hoops and registrations to jump through just to own there. Good luck!
@Michael1108, I don’t know personally how to go about the process in Hawaii, but there are two USCCA instructors in Hawaii that may be able to help you. Click here for the page where you can find their information.
Let us know how it goes!
Better yet, forget about moving to Hawaii.
Awesome. Thank you!
I hate that you have to move to such a place and I pray very soon all states and government will realize the need for citizens to be able to honor their 2A rights.
Good luck, I lived in Hawaii for many years in the late 70’s - 80’s, you would have a better chance in Afghanistan! The islands are beautiful, but became commercialized! Better gear in Afghanistan!
Take up Krav-Maga courses.
Shaka, brah!
