Yeah, we have a few new anti-2A, and whatever else we stand for trolls trying to resist our reality like the election outcome.
I suspect that we will frustrate them, and they will sulk away with their snarky rhetoric between their legs, dragging.

Tyler is a moderator acting on someone else flagging your posts.
We have a new batch of a few snarky trolls of the resist the reality of the election results type who have infiltrated our community, (membership in the USCCA is not required to join this community).
Post election they went looking for us to cause us trouble wherever they can finds us.
We are not a clandestine group hiding.
Finding us was easy and so is using the community guidelines to get us silenced.
My biggest sin is posting off topic, I must be surer of where I make my posts.
My biggest fault is encouraging this community to exercise their Constitutional Rights, which our detractors don’t want us to do so, they flag me whenever they can catch me “off base.”
Remedy: Familiarize yourself with our guidelines and stay inbounds to preserve your freedom of speech from being usurped by the trolls thinking that is so cleaver of them.
Don’t feed them! Starve them!

I recently was flagged and had my post deleted because I used MF’er. Which I have seen used on multiple platforms as an accepted way to express the nastier cuss word. Who gets to set the standard around here? Some new moderator that hasn’t been engaged with the users prior and is pushing his agenda. Is he going to go back and take out the pics of a woman giving head to Ronald Mac? To me that is far more in the way of insulting than typing MF’er. It’s like YT arbitrarily taking posts down because an ideology has been offended but allows a different ideology to be insulted because most people do it and is considered acceptable.
At least an announcement could have been made telling the people here there is a new sheriff in town so watch your Ps and Qs because stricter rules now apply.

That is very true, 1st Amendment Rights along with others are not enforced upon private establishments and orginizations. They are made to keep the govenment in check, not the private party or a business.
For those wondering; Think of Sams Club as an echoing example. Showing a reciept at the door assists in their shrinkage and the loss prevention, while also being a part of the membership agreement. Additionally, with fewer losses, they are able to keep the prices down or competative with their competition (CostCo). Their sister company, Walmart is operating under the “Merchants Privledge” rule, wherein they may review reciepts randomly or singularly at their discretion. Yet, the rule is applicable to State by State mandate and scope of the privledge.
Some say its an unlawful intrusion and their 4th Amendment is being impeded upon, while others understand who the law targets. It is not applicable to businesses and orginizations unless State law stipulates it does, or there is an egregious violation, such as a cursory or probative search of an individuals person and affects,… then it segues into a civil rights violation that carries damages against a retailer. This can be recouped in Tort or Civil Litigation, depending upon the sevarity of the occurrence.
As for profanity, I see both sides of the argument yet I side more without using it. In my experience, if one reverts to profanity and personal insults, that is the time they have lost the argument. We do have children who frequent these message boards, and it is not as though they have never heard a swear word, moreover they will get the idea that this is how responsible, lawful gun owning adults speak to oneanother. We need to set the example early on and practice etiquette, decorum and respect, even if we are being trolled or disrespected in some way. After all, if this is how one acts on a message board, how will one handle a situation that requires the aforementioned along with deescilation and defusing a potentally lethal encounter?
It all counts, and we should all make an attempt to practice daily. Just like hitting the range 4 to 5 times a week to remain proficient, so should we practice positive communication skills, in the hope that we never have to use them in a threatening encounter. I would rather be a warriour in a garden, instead of a gardener stuck in a war. So, we practice our skills at every opertunity. And, if profanity is just the way one speaks, then perhaps find replacement words and phrases that would be apropriate around young and impressionable ears.

I think it matters how we use them. If we use them to cuss it is one thing if we use them to curse it’s another.

Personally I agree with you. Being a cute little birdie I like things like, “ your ugly and your mother dressed you funny.” I just think cursing or cussing is childish. It is kind of like blaspheming oneself because I am the one using those words.
