I accidentally handled two different guns and I'm conflicted

Smith n Wesson shield plus performance center and a Sig sas 365… I’m conflicted :disappointed_relieved:

I would recommend dry firing each as a bare minimum - you might like the trigger better on one vs. the other. Also from a ready low position see which one naturally points where you want it to, just make sure not to point it at the guy behind the counter or any other customers

Ideally, you should rent and shoot each, but I know that isn’t as easy nor economical to do right now.

Of those 2, get the Shield. The 365 sas sights don’t allow for using a hard object as leverage to run the slide, if you had to do so 1 handed.

Conflicted? One in each hand. Conflict over.

Get both. And outfits to match!

Both have great triggers

Buy both and I won’t be able to buy a new turkey gun.

Either would end up being a backup to my m&p.

@Gary_H said it best.

You need to see which one is most comfortable during recoil. The Sig ate my hand up!

Ranges in my area offer affordable gun rentals ($5/gun) with only five rounds of ammo for each weapon. Check locally to see if they have some similar program near you.

This will allow you to feel what is better instead of looking at them.

I know a gal that loves her 365sas , if it doesn’t bother her it won’t bother me… I also already have a shield 2.0.

Hmmm. Yeah. That’s gonna be a problem.

Bah! I don’t like plastic guns. Well, except for my GSG Firefly 22…

Did you try it with the 10 or 12 round mag?

SAS is a point shooter in low light.

I really like my P365 but would not go for the SAS version myself. From what I have read the sights on that model are not ideal for precise shooting.

I went with the SAS and learned to shoot it without focusing on the sight, but then the size was too small, too snappy, not enough purchase even with the 15 round magazine.
