Ladies, I’m carrying a Ruger lite rack 380, which I love & train with and feel very comfortable with. I’m very small and having trouble finding a holster that won’t print. I have a belly band on the way, but I was wondering during the summer when wearing a dress, do yall have any recommendations for a thigh holster. I typically wear dresses or flowy tops in the summer. I can’t wear a cross body purse due to two fusions. Any help greatly appreciated
Welcome!
As for a holster, I’m a dad bod, so I don’t have much for you there…
That said, the super cute Asian girl at the range pulled a .50 Desert Eagle that I couldn’t see out of an appendix holster!!!
So your belly band will probably do you good.
Hello Krista, welcome to the community!
@Krista3 Welcome to the community, and just a while back a discussion as yours was brought up for light dress-up and there was Tube video on just what you’re looking for. I’ll see what I can research and get back to you. There’s neat stuff out there for you gals though. Hopefully others in the community can chime in with info as well.
@Krista3 You may want check out undertechundercover.com also deneadams.com also vertx.com also Amazon women’s clothing for conceal carrying. Happy shopping, and let us know what worked well for you. My daughters shop these sights.
If you like the bellyband idea, please be sure to rig one with a kydex holster designed for your specific firearm, instead of only the fabric pocket found in most belly bands.

Thinking of comfort in hot weather, consider the PHLSter Enigma as a more comfortable holster system with 2 inch belt instead of a wide 6 inch elastic fabric belt found on most all regular belly bands (aren’t girdles a thing of the past?).
I could’ve used that video about the enigma before I bought one and came to realize that appendix carry is not gonna work for my fat ass!
It is comfortable when I’m standing,… but get into the car, or sit down at a table for a meal?…. NOPE!
The barrel is basically canted directly at my bladder,… not in any resemblance of a comfortable way either….
So IWB, 4 o’clock it is,…
That is one of the reasons I bought a Tier1 Xiphos v2.
It completely conceals my G5 17, pulls the grip in close so it doesn’t print.(adjustable claw, thickness)
I carry a CANiK MC9LS in both a “belly band” and a WERKZ Bisect AIWB holster. I don’t wear dresses, but I do wear oversized shirts, untucked and neither of them print. For more info on the WERKZ Bisect visit www.werkz.com. Best of luck in your search.
@Craig_AR Is it me or does the shading, make it look like that guy shiat his pants
This is very cool but bc of my degenerative condition it would be difficult for me to get to quickly
Gottha was reaching for something most people don’t even know exist… Easy to look up all the normal gear … I wish you the best of luck, in your endeavor, to find the right equipment …
Maybe something like this also again not the normal stuff .. If this is a better place for you to carry …
I deal with more high end stuff.. I think this is sweet looking.. No one said you can’t look sexy and carry …
Oh the stuff I buy the women in my life …
There is cheaper stuff with bans and straps you can get … For me all in one and it hides it better then having a garter belt running down or bans around your legs that can slip…
Put me down as a fan of Werkz holsters. Carry my Glock 41 with light and red dot. Love mine.
Have you checked out She Equips Herself on YouTube? I know she addresses holsters often; can’t recall if she’s mentioned thigh holsters, though.

Here is a link to her channel. She is quite petite and covers a lot of different holsters/carry methods.
