I hadn’t even thought of them, but I do think their impact would be much smaller than the terror groups that are here. Seems to me the terror groups would come loaded for bear and do much more damage than the little bastards, and over more parts of the country. In fact, I saw a video last week that said police had busted a house that was making some kind of poison gas. I think it was in California, but I don’t remember them saying whole lot about who they were. You just never know these days.

I have to say it is quite dark.
Just got through a major surgery for the wife.
We’re a little rough around the edges. Things were just calming down.
Gas prices and food prices were coming down.
It seemed we were on the right track.
Then, OH SH1T, I turn on the news ( big FKN mistake ) and we’re at war!

Well, if not sleeping since Jan 17 has any effect on my health, I guess I’m doing poorly. The wife, however, thinks I’m doing fantastic.
I’ll find out from the doctors on Friday who’s doing better.
The patient or me. It’s her and me against the world. We’re good at it!
It was recommended that you NEVER leave a loved one in the hospital alone. Not the most comfortable way to stand a 3 day watch.
I got one day relief to shower and eat. Hospital food really does suck! But they were gracious enough to feed me morning, noon and night.
Home is a completely different story.
Nurse Ratchet has better persuasion techniques in the hospital than a husband at home.
How can you say no to the one you love for 37 years.
Fact is I have said no and pushed. She’ll be walking into the doctor’s office on her own 3 weeks out of major surgery.
Professional physical therapy hasn’t even started yet! When she starts, I start. While she’s working the muscles I’ll be walking 2.25 miles 3 days a week.
Other than that I’m ddd. Dddoing gggreeat!
Do I wish America was still apple pie and baseball instead of terrorist sympathizers, calls to prayer in the United States and truck drivers that can read a STOP sign, sure!
That sh1t was not in the retirement brochures!

I also will be by my Sisters bedside the 3 days she will be in Hospital. Made the arrangements with our Doctor from the get. NO VAX’s, Flu shots, and minimal pain meds. Just enough to tamp down the pain and make getting off the junk easier/faster.
When I say ‘TRUST THE PLAN’ I don’t mean do it Blindly, like the Sheeple we were.
I am happy to hear your other half is recovering well, please do the same. A Health care spouse needs to take care of themselves as well as the patient.

THE PLAN:

Prayers for your sister. Make sure she does her rehab religiously! It makes a huge difference in recovery, especially for those who are less physically active. My sis- in- law had both knees replaced. She is the model for listening to the therapists. She is functioning again, in record time, because she took her rehab seriously.
