What firearm forum(s) do you guys and gals read and recommend?
I’d like to find one with a high ratio of guns and ammo discussion. Do they exist?

I’m a member of Indiana Gun Owners. That’s where I keep coming up with those INGO AR 15 lowers. They have a killer classified section and almost all firearms content. Still some political crap minus all the jabroni comments. I’m on there all the time.

We used to have a rather big and active forum at Guns and Ammo (yes the magazine) until the publishers decided to close it down a couple of years ago. I was one of the Moderators for almost 20 years and I also assisted the Admin since he was not very technical.
It was basically like family and many of us, some from as far as New Zealand used to get together at one of the member’s farm every year for a shoot/dinner and camping for a weekend around Labor Day. I still meet up with folks around the country that I’ve known for decades and yet have never met face to face. All of them are GREAT people.
After G&A closed down one of the other mods opened up a small forum but quite frankly it’s just a small group of us dedicated old members of G&A and it’s a public forum but not really very welcoming to new folks. BUT, I go there ever day to see what’s going on and also to ask opinions of a group of true experts in just about anything gun related that I IMPLICITLY trust.
I spend most of my time here, sometimes I visit the 1911 forum and the S&W forum when I’m looking for specific info. But it’s less and less since quite frankly I’ve reached the point where I have VERY few questions about anything gun related. Hell I don’t even have any subscriptions to any gun rags anymore. They are all just toy catalogs and marketing brochures for the manufacturers nowadays with ZERO substantial info or articles.

There’s an app called The Arms Directory or something close to that. Lots of good like mined conversations going on there.
