Grip modification for Hellcat Pro?

Just had a thought. I saw a video of a guy who uses ranger bands on some of his grips. May not be a good solution, BUT it would be super cheap to try.

Grip module swapout takes less than a minute. Shop around for an extended model (I have seen them up to 19 round mag capacity).

Thanks Gary, But I ain’t buying & shooting my ammo out of a crummier gun just to make the Hellcat Pro feel better by comparison .

Thank you Bob, but the Hogue grips just covering the existing uncomfortable original and making it that much beefier . What I think should be possible is gluing a shallow half-round pad on the backstrap only.

Super Glue is your friend here…
Looks like Hellcat is not so popular if none of the custom grip manufacturers have anything interesting for it…

This case is another example why we should try before we buy.

Or just buy Glocks . Had a hard time recognizing you. I see your minion has decided to try roids.

Hello George,

I finally had an opportunity to try at the range my Talon grip on my Hellcat Pro. The grip is nice and I hold the Hellcat more firmly. However, it did not prevent the banging my right hand sometimes takes from the recoil. I did find that extending my left hand index finger over the trigger guard did, along with the Talon grip, prevent the banging. I do think holding the gun a bit lower on the handle, and not pushed against the top, is the key. This is also easier to do with the Talon grip. I hope this helps.

Thanks John, but I don’t think gripping lower will help. After two days of shoveling snow I gripped the Pro with slightly sore hands in a pair of gloves(for the first time). I now realize that the front of the grip is about as square as the back strap and just as uncomfortable!
I once questioned, on a different thread, why weren’t pistol grips as accommodating to my hand as my cordless drill? Someone responded the pistol grip should index in the hand better than the drill. IDK! I frequently pick up my Ryobi flashlight an hit a wall outlet 30 ft away with a beam of light first pull on the switch. I’m thinking — individual modification.
