George Floyd Trial

Left out while overdosing on meth and fentanyl.

It is a murder trial, not an excessive force trial. George Floyd died from his drug overdose.

The full body cam footage is out there. Watch it start to finish, not just the parts that agree with you FEELINGS, but the entire thing. Then elaborate with a clear, unbiased, and reasonable mind. All prosecution witnesses from last week we’re dripping with bias. You can’t deny that. Protectors had better step up their awareness. The urban warriors will be on the move no matter the verdict. At least condition “yellow” outside of the blue loop and “orange” inside. For you urban protectors, it’s hard to stay in “alert” status but must be maintained until the anger settles. Best of luck to all on the pending chaos. Happy Easter all. Wear the armor of god proudly and always.

There is too much invested in the narrative of social justice/white privilege. Just imagine the magnitude of forces who expect to benefit from inciting anger. Police “reform” alone will misappropriate billions of $$. Rebranding everyone and everything to use “inclusive” newspeak is worth billions $$ more. And so on.
So, what does this make of this trial, regardless of the outcome? It is a fig leaf to cover theft of a whole country. Tell me I am wrong, please prove me wrong.

I defer to Chris Rock, who said (paraphrase): would you fly with an airline who said ‘most of our pilots are good, we just have a few bad apples.’?

Agreed. As my grandpappy taught me, when you’re talking to the police, you have to remain respectful and obey their commands. You have to live to file the complaint the next day. If you don’t survive, no one will ever hear your side of the story.

Based on many, many videos of people seeking confrontation with police officers, I’d say they didn’t get the same lesson. Or perhaps the rules have changed since granddad learned how to play the game. Makes me wonder if his advice against dating white girls is also outdated.

FYI: LEO are Civilians too. It is so wrong to compare soldiers to police officers. Soldiers are 3rd class citizens while serving. Police can quit. Soldiers can’t quit. Huge difference.

So if LEO obey unconstitutional laws then they are POS and are the enemy.

I had my first interaction with a LEO today. I got rearended by a gentleman tailgating me, who them got rear ended by another car. Despite 2 of the 3 cars being driven by different ethnicities, nobody got shot even with me telling the 911 operator I was a concealed carrier.

Now how come it didn’t turn into a Wild Wild West shootout with all this. It was simple. We were all (including the LEO’s) polite, and courteous). Demeanor goes a long way with smoothing things over.

One of the officers remembered me from an accident a few weeks before when there was a wreck (I wasn’t involved) I stopped and rendered medical aid until paramedics got there.

Why do you presume everyone else does? Simple search on YouTube will show people minding theie own business when a cop goes Ballistic. You can back who ever you want, but denying the problem will not be accepted. His statement was on one point and truthfully.

I’m a strong supporter of law enforcement officers but I do not condone abuse of authority. I’ve witnessed and experience abusive LEO. LEO or not immune to screwing up. This case is an extreme case of abuse and IMHO will result in the LEO being convicted. He should have retired or resigned long before he reached this incident.

Just like Rodney King, Floyd had developed into a neighborhood nuisance to police, a low-level, revolving-door criminal. With an established reputation as a UPITA to deal with, I wouldn’t be surprised if some officers hadn’t built grudges against him - Chauvin deliberately went out his way to make his arrest as abusive as possible, knowing that he had to be on someone’s video. Even Minneapolis’ police chief testified that he would’ve gotten off Floyd once he was cuffed and subdued. Facts and evidence should bear these points out - peace officers or rogue cops?

Of what? He’s on trial for murder, not abuse.

KURT 17 - you tell us to watch the King video…did you watch any other Floyd videos? officer’s body cam vid from a different angle shows that Chauvin’s knee was not on Floyd’s neck, but lower down. NOT on his neck. asphyxia by neck compression did not occur. during testimony MPD Chief (a witness for the prosecution) testified Chauvin’s technique was improperly executed because Chauvin placed his knee on Floyd’s neck. defense showed that video to him, and he had to admit on the stand that the knee was NOT on the neck.

Floyd still died - explain THAT, when police officers across the country are to exercise discretion during arrests.

Maybe in the world you live on you blame the other 99% for the actions of a few. That does seem to be modus operandi nowadays.

In my world, you find the bad apples, and you let the legal system work as designed. I guess I’m just not woke enough to blame the vast majority of LEO, who get up each day, and do a hard, demanding and thankless job and do so while serving with distinction.

Sorry, I am just not woke enough, to blame the many for the actions of a few.

Let’s take a break from this topic until the trial is over. Then a conversation about how the results of this trial may affect responsibly armed Americans will be allowed.

Any race or police hate will not be allowed in that conversation. Thank you for doing your best to keep it out of this conversation as well. It’s a very heated and debated topic and until all of the facts are out continued speculation only serves to increase frustration.

Thanks!
