I wonder who is getting charged these fees. Even though Florida is a constitutional carry state, I have a valid Florida CWL, and when I buy a gun, the background check seems to be just federal, takes about 2 minutes, and I’m out the door with my new gun. No wait, no fees, nothing. On top of that, our governor just made a sales tax holiday for guns and ammo (not that I have the money lying around for new guns right now), so no sales tax until Dec 31.
