Always. I have a separate area for cleaning guns. I have a prep station for loading firearms and gear. And a cleaning station. Absolutely no ammunition of any kind on the cleaning station. clear the firearm and break it down. It gets reloaded on the other workbenche and put away. It’s the only place that a gun is unloaded in my house. Every other firearm is loaded and treated as such
Sure do. When doing holster training, I purge the room of live ammo and load a mag with snap caps.
