Going to work (business dress clothes usually):
Keys, wallet, phone, pen, S&W 642 revolver in a Don Hume pocket holster.
Every other time (leaving the house):
Keys, wallet, phone, folding knife and one or both of the following: an M&P Shield in an urban carry Lock Leather OWB with a spare mag, or the revolver in either the Don Hume pocket holster or a 1791 Gunleather OWB, or two revolvers in each front pocket. If I’m carrying the revolver(s) I’m carrying a speed strip.
Hanging out around the house: either the shield on the belt in the Urban Carry, or the revolver in the pocket, depending on what I’m wearing.
Doing things that get me sweaty (often, in Florida), the Sheild in a We The People IWB Kydex with a Sticky Holsters pad, or, if I don’t care about concealing (like landscaping) the Shield in a Fobus OWB paddle.
The point of all this is, 1. Always be Carrying, and 2. Have a system and gun(s) that allow you to do point 1 any time, any place. Also, I don’t believe in having too many guns in the “rotation.” This way, no matter what you’re carrying, you’re practiced with it and comfortable.
