There’s another topic on the forum about an Oklahoma self-defense shooting where the grandfather of one of the perpetrators is talking about how it wasn’t a fair fight, because the homeowner they were trying to rob was armed with an AR-15.
A lawyer can argue whatever they want to try to persuade a jury. I can see inscribing a gun with “Kill them all, let God sort them out” as a strong argument for a prosecutor, but gun mods to make it easier to defend yourself is a bad idea? I don’t buy it. Might as well say don’t carry a 45, because it gives you a greater advantage than a 22.
I’m with @Fred_G, I’d want examples from any instructor that tells this.
