I have been around firearms for most of my adult life, but am still new to concealed carry. It’s definitely been a learning process. One of the things I have learned is that I shoot my Beretta 92 Compact much better than similar sized striker fired pistols.
I know that the 92 Compact is chunkier and heavier than something like a Glock 19. But I like the ergonomics and accuracy of the 92, and would like to consider carrying it IWB with a jacket or loose over shirt.
Any recommendations for holsters.? I like to carry IWB around 4 o’clock.

I’ll advise you to look at Elite Holsters, and go to the Elite Holster Store to see what they offer. Here are Cordura nylon IWB holsters that offer you a “soft” or “hard” adjustable snap thumb-break, and a velcro-flapped pouch in front for an extra magazine. I prefer nylon versus leather or kydex - both will make you sweat during long-term carry - kydex feels like you jammed a piece of cardboard down your pants. They also feature an open muzzle, and a wide belt-clip for any size belt. They’re inexpensive - I shopped for two weeks until I found them.

I agree with Elite Survival Systems. They are comfortable and there are enough different models to cover anything. Also alot of stitching making mods possible.
I don’t have a berreta 92 but I have a PK380 with ambi safety like your handgun and vedder holsters makes kydex IWB worth looking into. The way its designed I forget its there and the slide and safety does not dig on your side.

I just got a beretta 92x Centurion that is about to join the carry rotation. It is optics ready so it may be a different model or the same as you choose and I will modify it for the optic.

I own a few 92s but don’t carry them. Try to get somewhere that you can try them on. We all have boxes of holsters that didn’t work out for us. Save yourself!

I use IWB holster with steel clip (+red dot) - classic, suitable, reliable.
