I have a about a 1000 rounds thru my M&P with no issues.Field strpped several times for cleaning with no issues. My SA 1911 has a few thousand also with no issues. This isn’t a lot for sure but enough for me to be comfortable with both. While I try to buy American on most of my purchases, there are exceptions. I always try hard to avoid things made in China. In Louisiana, after Hurricane Katrina, the Chinese drywall caused problems for years. If your drywall can cause pipes to rust and corrode, same for wiring inside walls, what is the toothpaste or hair products doing! Could be a long term plan or just crap but I avoid Made in China at all costs.

My preference is toward American made products, but more importantly I prefer to avoid supporting countries whose aim is to harm my own country.
