Dismantling police?

1st of all, like you said, they sat on their behinds or didnt show up (McCloskeys house). When cops meant business (CHAZ dismantling), they did pretty well. Obviously I have no use for police that retreats before thugs, or roughs up innocent families, but thats complicated. Usually there is a lefty mayor or some sort of illegal cabal between mayor-DA-chief of police. To say, defund the police, but keep the mayor-DA part of the problem is silly, counterproductive.
As far as anti-gang unit stats, I dont have anything concrete. I do read about targeted arrests in the news from time to time, dont know if convictions come out of these. I believe it is LE’s duty is to continuously harrass organized crime wherever organized crime is found, law permitting.

So far, we’ve been lucky and didnt see any armed mobs shooting. I understand that any private citizen’s options against a more or less organized militant unit are to flee, take cover, and call for help. David took on Goliath, not the entire Philistine army.

  1. Colion Noir isn’t a member of USCCA
  2. Colion didn’t post it
  3. Nice attempt to throw my own words back at me but you’re missing one part; you don’t know how long I’ve been aware of Colion so it is unfair for you to try and say I don’t have a long storied history of disagreeing. You dont’ even know why I disagree with him, you’re just hurt over my decision to not like or respect someone who is not you.,

Ad1: Doesn’t have to, to be respected
Ad2: But his words were used here
Ad3: It wasn’t attempt to do anything. Wise man keeps his words. We do everything here to keep professional level of conversations, trying NOT TO offend anybody (“He’s absolute trash” is offending)

Anyway… we are off the topic now. That’s the end of the conversation on my end. :zipper_mouth_face:

Exactly no drug dealer or gang beside cartels have anything more than you and me… Standard semi automatic weapons if that. And when you go look at all the pictures that the police like to post of all the guns they got off the street after each bust what guns are in them pictures …old revolvers Hi-point’s. Glocks, shotguns and a boilt action here or there. But when they use they’re great equipment to red flag you and confiscate the law abiding gun owners guns the pictures look more like $2000. AR15’s and AK variants . Glocks. 50 cal. And hundreds to thousands of rounds of ammunition. Who do you really think they are armored up for

Where were the police to protect the St.louis couple after a mob broke down private property and made threats to them. They never showed until it was time to take the Guns from the couple who used them to protect themselves and there property

They aren’t going to want to hear you speak this truth. Some truths are meant to stay hidden.

Thanks for keeping this heated conversation as respectful as you have.

I’ll jump in here and clarify a few points:

@JayK, I’m totally good with you not liking or even respecting Colion Noir, that is your right. I respect the fact that you don’t want to discuss why you dislike him. I’ll just ask that you not call him names.

Name calling is against the Community Standards even if the person isn’t here/a participant in the Community. Name calling of anyone (political figures included) does not help convey your point, it actually detracts from your point which is part of the reason it’s not allowed here.

Be very careful when you say you have a gun so you won’t have to call the police. As responsible firearm owners, when we defend ourselves, we MUST call the police and report the situation. Comments that say you won’t call the police will be used against you in court if you ever have to legally defend your physical actions.

I want everyone to make their best arguments in a respectful manner here so that we can all learn from each other. And we can learn something from everyone - including people we disagree with and don’t like.

Glad to have you here @JayK - a variety of opinions helps us all grow!

@Gary_H, I’ll make sure JayK gets his badge!

Ummm. No idling is not harder on a engine then driving its and as for being used 24 hours a day a thats false there are quite a few police and sheriff that are allowed to take there patrol car home and then they have cars in and out of rotation…new york. LA .Chicago the biggest cities in the country my be different but for 85% this is true

AD1: If your feelings are hurt over a nomenclature of today’s lexicon, you either need to toughen up, or if you don’t understand the term, ASK instead of assuming.
AD2: Doesn’t matter if his words were used here or not, AD1 holds true
AD3: My word has been kept. Again, you have no idea current nomenclature and instead of trying to understand it, you’re just jumping on what you think is the moral right, when in fact, you’re jumping into a pile of dung.

We are on the topic you brought up. So we’re good. Now that you’re done prejudging me with out trying to understand me, we can be done. I don’t care much for your thoughts on me either way.

Peace be unto you.

I didn’t call him names at all. If you would like, I can send you a pm of the names I do call him.

Allow me to give you a brief overview of the word “trash”

In the …urban… nomenclature, trash means something you disagree with based off findings of your own to be the opposite. It is not a name calling thing. Before we chastise, and chastise publicly, we must first understand and know what we’re chastising for, or we open ourselves up to other criticism. Or how bout this; let’s play this out different:

Dawn: Jay, you say Colion is trash. I am not sure what you mean when you say he is trash? Is that a putdown? Please help me understand your use of the word “trash”

That is Dawn gaining further info before admonishing Jay.

Jay would say; "Ah, well where I come from, “trash” is MANY things. Like New Yorkers use the f word for a comma, in my community, we use trash as that. Say someone buys a sig and they bedazzle it. We say “That looks trash” It is not a personal attack, but yet another way of saying “I appreciate the purchase you have made. I respect the fact that you’ve taken the time to modify your system and make it more appealing and heck, even more appetizing to yourself. However, with that being said, It is not something I would do as I personally feel something better could be done with that system. I may not agree with what you did, but I respect what you did.”

One was quicker to say, yes?

“Be best.” (a quote from Melania’s first campaign as First Lady … the one out of the two in that relationship worthy of human respect)

This is very important point @Shawn31. Did you feel more or less on the side of defunding and abolishing a police that treats homeowners defending themselves like this? What if creating this sentiment in the public IS THE WHOLE POINT?
Do not let them deceive you. Even with lousy or inept PD, you can beat charges in the courts and defend your rights and count on PD to fight most crime. What does the lefty DA see replacing police, some kind of community policing solution, done by the militant arm of BLM? You can forget courts and rights when that happens, you won’t be beating charges in front of the judge, they will be beating you in in your front yard.

So let me clear this up i know and believe that we need the police officers and sheriff’s in our cities and county’s I respect the police and i dont cause problems witch is why i can ccw. I am not saying we need to get rid of the police but yes there budgets are extremely big and its spent on military grade vehicles and like wise equipment they will never need until they decided to lock us in are homes again for another 3 months instead of actual training ,firearms ,some sort of martial arts, and de escalation… As stated i live in price hill Cincinnati. Right in between downtown , Avondale, and Bond hill I grew up in a really crappie neighbor hood i understand what the police are up against there jobs are hard .police do need to be fully armed but to what extent as i said when it comes to dealing with a trained group.Fed’s are always called and the the big gangs or drug dealers always walk out with there hands up no shots fired

I agree with what you are saying. And no i don’t want any of that. But living where i have lived seeing what I’ve seen experienced what i have and know what i know its hard to not say there is something really wrong with the policing and there budgets we dont live in Mayberry i know but we also don’t live in. Oh the clever leveraging of words. Ofcourse black lives matter, the concept is true, just like all lives matter is a truth. On the other hand , black lives matter as an organization based on what it’s leaders profess and the actions of it’s members…they are pushing for anarchy to pave the way for a failed marxist America…their ideology has nothing remotely to do with improving black lives but have in fact ruined lives in its wake of riots, looting and destruction. Oh but speak out against this terrorist organization and here’s the clever leveraging of words…You must be a racist and don’t think black lives matter.

I’ve often wondered that if folks feel as though they have to state (scream) the obvious, then why not “lives matter.” It is so foolish that no one would yell…or even say it.
