While the guy didn’t deserve the end he got, wasn’t he a thief who put the police and others in danger more than once? I don’t understand the meaning of giving a flag for that. What do they give people who follow the rules?

“… people’s depth of understanding the issue.”?? Sorry, you lost me. The fact that ALL lives - not just black or asian or latino or Caucasian or AmerIndian or… - do indeed matter IS the issue. The only issue.
Demands by BLM for things like “reparations,” and “reverse discrimination,” and being held to reduced responsibility for maintaining law-abiding behavior (and unilaterally-reduced punishment for failure to obey law) are not in any way [legally, morally, ethically, or practically] acceptable. But those demands do - very accurately - reflect the organization’s mentality.
‘Black Lives Matter’ is unquestionably guided by socialist/communist leaders. The three avowed Marxist women who co-founded the group are being kept completely hidden by both the organization and the media, but they are all three enemies of this Constitutional Republic - who demand that this government be destroyed and replaced with a socialist regime. And they are willing to dupe certain citizens [whom Democrat Leadership facetiously refer to as “low-information voters”] into blindly supporting their cause. And the use of inflammatory rhetoric like the terms “racist” and “bigot” are the Movement’s tools to socially silence (to “guilt” into acquiescence) any public verbal opposition… thus far, effective tools that scare the hell out of all other races, who sincerely fear even “looking” racist.

I will say this, I firmly DO believe that black lives matter!! Just as much as any other life, 'cept drug dealers I have a particular passion for drug dealers. What I do NOT support nor can condone is Black Lives Matter, Inc. who’s very purpose supports the destruction and establishment of the American system. LEO’s are truly the thin blue line between anarchy and stability.
There were many calls to federalize the National Guard to take down CHOP/CHAZ and I still to this day think that is a bad idea. The US Military is only good at one thing and that is breaking $h!t and killing people, they (we, I and many like me were they) suck at policing actions and humanitarian rescue efforts. You need 100,000 soldiers killed, 100,000 miles of territory seized? Easy day. You want a peaceful civilian population under a police state the military is the wrong answer. That means a trained, professional police force. Is it perfect? No, but US LEO’s are a damn sight better than any of the dozens I have seen around the world. There’s more I could say but the lawn needs mowing.

How about we reverse the pay scale. NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL all get a cops salary and all cops get professional sports salaries. Let’s see who kneels first!
A cop puts his / her life on the line for $65,000 a year, athletic millionaires, they run past the line, over the line through line for millions! Cops die on the blue line.
Why doesn’t Pepsi, Adidas, or anyone of a billion companies endorse cops?
I can hear it now, Super Bowl for serial killers, playoffs for pedophiles, gives a whole new meaning to March madness, don’t ya think?

I do firmly believe that the police budget in most states and cities are far more then what is needed and a big part of it could be cut when they are buying bearcats and armored vehicles military grade equipment what do they need any of that for. When is that last time there was a big enough fire fight that a local police department needed a huge armored vehicles. I live in Cincinnati ohio we have multiple violent crimes every day and never once have they needed it. I live next to a small city of Newport Kentucky with only about 10,000 resistance the cops have 4 wheelers segways 2 huge swat trucks a bearcat they get new cars evey 4 years for what really this stuff is not used to protect us it is going to be used against us and evey one knows when kids get new toys they must play with them and for a leo they look for reasons to get there toys out. Wouldn’t this money be better spent on there actual training something like sending them to professional firearms training and de escalation training in stead of military equipment. The police aren’t going up against a military so why do they need to be equipped like a military in less they believe they will be going up against a military and who do you think they think that is. Its you and me the gun owners of the United States of America and until then they find a reason to get there big toys out to play with them and use them. There are some cities that there police stay very busy but in most cases police drive around and bull crap with each other wile parked in some parking lot behind a abandoned Kmart building we have all seen it then they get a red flag gun seizure call see how amped and excited they get

While I understand where your coming from with some of the other items (neither agree nor disagree), I do think that new cars every 4 years is probably needed due to the sheer mileage they put on. I know some sheriffs and police officers have to cover large areas on their patrols. If I am putting on 60 miles a day in my commute to work in two hours, I’m betting they’re putting on closer to 100 to 200 miles a day if not more. And their cars are being driven 7 days a week - and probably faster than I go most of the time. (

So 4 years at 150 miles a day (on the light side), that’s 219,000 miles. Even if it was just 100 miles a day, that’s still 146,000 miles in 4 years - with a bigger variety of wear and tear than my vehicle sees… (no one pukes in the back of my car if I have anything to say about it!)
Have you seen what some of the gangs and drug dealers have these days? 
I think it all depends on what’s going on in the area and what resources are needed vs wanted. I want a brand new car (my AC is dead right now), but I don’t need one. I need to get my AC fixed. (Thank God for family members who are mechanics!)
