My Korean war vet father flew through Newark when he came to visit my wife and I when he was in his 80s and walked with a walker. He had a metal knee and a metal hip. TSA took him through a very thorough search. All I could think of what what are they afraid of? That’s he’d rush the cockpit with his cane and walker? Too much fear in our society in my view.
