Dads always have a favorite, whether they let you know it or not. My dad is no different. He has a favorite, which we talk about at different family gatherings. I personally don’t agree with his favorite and have a different favorite myself.
My dad’s favorite happens to be a Glock. Mine is a SIG Sauer. Neither of us is wrong. Our favorite is the one that we’re most comfortable with and shoot accurately.
My dad’s was his Colt 1911, which he carried in WWII.
Dads favorite was a his pair of Colt Pythons. He had to sell them years ago, when I was very, very young. I think he’s been looking at the new ones.
My step dad’s favorite was an M1 carbine.
weeelll Dad wasn’t a hunter, but he did hand me down a single shot .22! Dad couldn’t enter the military as he had flat feet. LOL
A Colt Python was his favorite handgun, but his Browning A-5 Sweet 16 was his favorite gun by far.
His favorite rifle was a Springfield 30 06
His favorite shotgun was a double barreled 20 gage
His favorite hand gun was a Smith and Wesson 357 revolver
I can not fault him on any of his choices
