Same here. I carry all of my firearms in a cross draw configuration. Much easier and less noticeable to slide your hand across your belly to draw than to hike up your right shoulder ( assuming you are right handed) and try to fish your gun out. When driving just make sure the seat belt is under your gun butt.

I have a gun magnet on the side of the console where I can ‘draw’ the gun in a second. This is a full sized and different gun than the compact that stays in my IWB. That way I have a gun close at hand if I need it while seat belted into my seat, but that I don’t have to worry about if I have to get out of the car fast. I securely lock the car gun in a locked box mounted to the floor when I park the car. I’m sure some people will say what a bad idea this is, but the system has worked well for me for years and I will continue to use it.

Yes those magnets are pretty strong to will hold about any firearm I suspect. :us:
