Canik Mete SFT Holster

I have a canik mete SFT that i open carry on my way to and from work ( open carry is legal in my state and i work for a county sheriffs office that’s why i open carry it) and i’m trying to find a good Level 2 holster any suggestions?

IWB and OWB… mostly depends on you personal preference I guess???

the first one has a very positive belt connection…

First - those proposed above are no go… I’m sorry @OldDude49 , but those do not fit @Deven’s needs.

@Deven - check DARA Holsters.
They have two options for you:

  • Level 2 Retension holster
  • Level 2 Duty Holster

I’m using two or their Duty holsters and I’m super satisfied, but in my case this is only for range and classes. I cannot carry in this holster in IL :face_without_mouth:

REQUEST TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS:
Please never recommend to anybody any SERPA or Index Finger Release System holsters. NEVER.

Ok why not other then you don’t like them sorry but if your are going to make a statement like that give a reason.

On the finger release holsters you could insert your finger onto the trigger while drawing.

The one i have for my taser i never have this problem but i could see it

It’s not about me not liking something… it’s about the safety of people in our Community.
This was discussed dozen times, you can find warnings at most of the ranges and disclaimers once signing up for classes.
Nothing more needs to be added.

I like Safariland. Their auto locking system works great, and if you want to vary ride length the QLS is hard to beat. I also would not shy away from an index finger release system. The problems have been, to a certain extent, over dramatized. Find someone who has one and ask if you can try it out (dryfiring).

Hey @Deven ,

I use an Urban Carry Lock leather as my OWB holster. Locks my SFT just fine, however you may want to contact them as to which certification for retention level the holster holds.
