How many members can get their EDC. At Ready in 2.seconds or Less and have you timed your self .? Because an attack doesn’t wait speed matters! Just hitting the target doesn’t matter if you not prepared. How fast can you get at ready ?

I finally got my shot timer, but I didn’t use it today as I wasn’t carrying my EDC. (365X IWB) instead I had an OWB 1911 on my hip.
When I practiced with my G43 I could clear concealment and get two rounds on target relatively quickly,…. Under 2 seconds?

Will-B that’s very fast if you’re not Printing. And you’re shirt is over your edc. An it’s got the retention strap snapped down that’s a lot to get right an get on target !! We don’t have time when we have an attacker five feet away with a blade it’s Dicey if we should even go for our edc an go hand to hand . Of spray pepper spray. It’s getting Dangerous i want to know what is the Plan for making it where ever we can come up with Love Bobby Jean and Debbie ann Sir .

Karacal that’s a nice timer and great time . I timed my self getting my edc out and well I suck truly by the time I look down an get my shirt out the way and un snap it if a bad guy was ten feet my edc would be the Bad guys i have to work on it Love Bobby Jean and Debbie ann sir.

I run a crossbreed mini tuck holster for my EDC, retention is just the Kydex. But it will hold the gun in while inverted.
Yes, I was practicing from full concealment, looking away from the target, turning to face the target, clearing concealment and firing.
Knowing where the target is, and knowing you intend to fire is very different from being blindsided by an attacker.

Karacal i was shocked i have western wangle snap dress shirts and they are all ways unsnapped. But they are still in the way of seeing the edc and when I look down to unsnap my edc or take the leather strap for even my six guns it’s not like Quick Draw anything I was truly embarrassed. When I was asked get it out right now you’re under attack i F ed up everything it sucked and tried to hard and you would not believe how stupid i felt. I think it’s important for everyone to figure out just what you said or what you need to do because I thought i was great till my shirt caught my edc and i dropped my EDC fumbled it treble I felt like i needed to get more members to look into this problem because I can’t be the only one who just found out looking down to find my edc and clearing my holster to at ready it’s a serious issue i never thought about . Attack at Ready my Azz sadly brother and it a problem im not even ready as I thought with my edc Love Bobby Jean and Debbie ann SIR THE Hammer ripped my new shirt no root beer for me Sir

I haven’t checked for a while, but last I used a timer I was between 1.8 and 2.3 pretty consistent (inside of a 3"sq at 15 feet). At 1.5 the sq got out of hand…

Karacal i could only imagine with the bad attacking an not being able to get my edc out because hell by the time I got my shirt out the way it hung up on the hammer ripped my new shirt it was hung up on my shirt and Yeper dropped it no riot beer for me 2 seconds of freaking out no getting aready anything ideas very welcome Love Bobby Jean and Debbie ann Sir .

Mike 164 im so used to my Blades I can get them out in less than a second but the handles are outward. Not my edc like Johnnyq60 said he didn’t want to blow the boys off with my s&w m&p 2.0 no t.s. So he went with a different edc this happened with my 3.57 six gun. Just sad Love Bobby Jean an Debbie ann Sir tery sir

Learn to pull your shirt up to completely clear your pistol, with your pistol hand practice quickly just putting you hand on the grip, don’t even draw the pistol. Just get used to where the pistol is by muscle memory.
Once you get one hand clearing your shirt off the pistol and the other gripping the pistol you will be doing it much quicker all with never taking your eyes off of your target.
