Moore says the legislation bans the use of a new, unique Merchant Category Code for transactions involving firearms and ammunition.

That’s as unconstitutional as the CA roster of handguns for sale! :rage:

WV is awesome. I’m watching for CCI 22M sales. Anyone know of an upcoming rebate?

WV has the law on the books already?

If so, how do they stop VISA, et. al from tracking via the merchant codes or tracking by some other method?

Just curious as I have not followed any of the proposals to prevent the CC companies from tracking.

I remember the CC companies getting on board and then a couple, ostensibly, backing off. Like, how would we ever know if they really backed off?

Heck, if WV is successful, I may have to start purchasing product from companies based in WV!

Come to WV, and there’s no tax on guns and ammo either. Last suppressor had no tax as well. Online as well, I’ve ordered the Stribog and lowers from out of state, and no tax. Think I paid tax on the triggers and mags.
Pretty sure it’s based on how the store inputs the code. I recall one online store stating they used “sporting goods” to get around Bidens intrusive nature.
From what the LGS is telling me, if I get a WV permit, they don’t call in the 4473 for approval. Fill out the form and go.
