See that’s why you were a DETECTIVE in New York City, you catch the small details, and I was a lowly trainer of doggos for SAR (was never a police officer, was a flight medic civvie side). 
No butter on popcorn just made the way God intended popcorn with a side of salt lick.

I have never had that happen to me in training with an instructor but I was at a training class with 30 other like minded individuals when the trainer, who had previously been a Master Sgt in an elite SF group, was running through an explanation and accidentally dropped his mag after the first shot. Never missed a beat and immediately loaded his second mag in the blink of an eye. After completing the instruction he turned to us and said “$#!t happens so train for it” with no embarrassment that it had happened at all. Made me realize I need to incorporate those type of scenarios into my training.
