Exactly Ryan ! However, I am certain that the Governor of Texas fixed that nonsense when he began shipping invaders into the Cities right into the black communities. While many are waking up to reality that the democrat party has sold them out once again … many will still vote for the FIRST Woman , black woman cross dresser … whatever the media sells them to keep them enslaved to the democrat party.

I think many of them are quite skilled and intelligent when it comes to figuring out ways to enrich themselves and their backers in the short term. What most of them fail to recognize and understand are the huge long term costs for their short term gains.

Not just civics but any history that fails to meet standards based on 2024 woke philosophy. Not only vilifying the Founding Fathers for being alive during the slave era but blaming all the evils of slavery on America. Virtue signaling by promising payments to people who were never slaves to be paid by people who never owned slaves and ignoring the fact that the US led the way to abolish it and Europe followed suit.
Fact:
1808: United States passed legislation banning the slave trade
1811: Spain followed suit in its colonies for but allowed Cuba to continue.
1813 - Sweden banned slavery
1814 - Netherlands banned slave trading
1817 - France passed laws banning slave trading to take effect in 1826
1833 - Britain passed the Abolition of Slavery Act, ordering gradual abolition of slavery in all British colonies.
