It doesn’t work that way. Debates are between candidates for office in the next election not whoever is in office at the moment. VPs have run for president in the past. They didn’t have to resign their VP status. Remember GHW Bush?
Since Biden is no longer running for President Harris is no longer his choice for VP this election cycle. Whoever the kleptocrats and their big money backers hand pick at the Democrats’ convention will be the new Presidential candidate and they will choose or have chosen for them the next VP candidate.
The big money backers really wanted Harris back in 2020 but the public quickly saw how bad of a candidate she was before and during the first primary debate. She dropped out before the voters could prove how much they did t like her.
The only way to get Harris near the White House was as VP and the only chance she has of becoming the Democrat nominee for president is by bypassing the primary election process. This has worked out perfectly for her and the big money backers who believe they can get her to give them everything they want. Except for the fact that it is well documented how horrible she is at leading and managing. Aside from being a black woman she has no qualities that appeal to voters. If the kleptocrats were smart they would look for a much more electable candidate even if that means they might not be able to control them quite as easily.
How long will it take to change the ballots that get mysteriously found at the last minute and mysteriously are for the Democrat presidential candidate by a 9:1 margin?
Makes sense but reinforces my belief that politics sucks. And who ever accused kleptocrats of being smart, especially after repeated demonstrations to the contrary by several of their ilk?
Just wondering why the news media is acting so shocked and surprised at something everyone and their grandmother knew was going to happen after it was clear that Trump was going to be the nominee. LOOONNGG before that debate! EVERYONE knew that Biden would not be on the ticket in November!
They have to act that way. These are the same people who lied to us for the last two years pretending he was okay. They were showing clips of him from just four years ago and man, what a difference. He was still a lying sack of… back then, but at least he could string a sentence together and complete a thought. He really has deteriorated a lot in the last few years.
The “news” was trying to pretend the Trump camp was caught off guard, then in the next breath said that team Trump had already released an ad against Harris. Yeah, really off guard, they had the ad done and cued up
Another important factor is that now the media is focused on Harris as the First…whatever she is.
No investigation about an attempted assassination on President Trump.
The media will never focus on how Harris slept her way up the ladder and did zero legislation to stop our country from being invaded.
The media will only focus on her skin color.
The last polls I saw had Harris and Biden not that much different. However, that was all pre-assasination attempt. Who knows what they are now. Also, she wasn’t officially the candidate then either.
Her DEI creds are impeccable. They’ve become part of her name whenever the media mentions it: the first African American, Asian blah blah blah. What impresses me is the number of different sources of reparations will she be entitled to when they start handing out the payments.
