Best Father's Day Gift?

Thats when I also bought a dress jacket for the first time. I’m either laid back, dress casual, or in a rented tuxedo up to that point in my life.

I’m in a T-shirt. Usually a Hornady, 5.11, NRA, Gunsite, (Wish USCCA had more options) or from a gift shop. Same if it’s at work or sometimes a polo type shirt at work and church.

Little secret: a tie is actually a device to hold your shirt together. Now we have collar buttons. You don’t need both. If it’s choking you, try unbuttoning your top shirt button, and use your tie to hold your shirt together, just tight enough to be comfortable. You’ll still look fine but it won’t be so bothersome.

From someone who has always had to wear ties.

I just wanted to wish all fathers in our Family/Community a Happy and blessed Fathers Day and to be safe where ever you go and whatever plans you have do not do them without God being first.

The best gift is spending the day with your kid if you’re able to. I was fortunate enough to spend the day with my little wild child

So, my Father’s Day gift finally came. My wife and son got me a Boyd’s Spike Camp for my Marlin.

It feels great in hand, and adds a nice weight to the rifle. Planning a range trip for Monday to try it out.

Unfortunately I never really had a chance to give gifts to my father. But that’s why I bend over backwards to provide a better example to my children. My favorite gift was a bell shaped mug that says #1 Dad.

Dad died in 1982 but I still remember when we would go to the garage and work on the car together. Change oil, new muffler, what ever it ws always sweet. As for now I just want to spend time with my son and his family. I have lost two sons . One in an auto wreck the other had a heart attack in his sleep so the time I spend with this one is extra precious to me. He calls me pop and I just love it. Grampa is really nice and when I hear great grandpa I just about bust my britches. Gifts are nice but the time is so much better. Hey guys it is okay to hug your kids an d give them a kiss on the cheek one in a while. It takes a man to show love.
