I Think everyone’s carrier path and life experiences are unique and interesting. Their perspectives are worth understanding even if I don’t agree. At some point I realized I could learn from other people’s experiences and decisions. I didn’t have to learn the, “hard way”, by experiencing circumstances and situations for myself.

that is a thoughtful way to look at it. Listening to people with different experiences can save us from making avoidable mistakes and also helps us see situations from angles we might never have considered. Even when I end up making a different choice, understanding the reasons behind someone else’s decision is often just as valuable as the advice itself.
