I think it is due to versatility. I am considering one by Brave Response Holsters. It will fit almost all guns. The only thing I am curious of is will the holster accommodate the light laser combo on the rail of my gun.

i am looking at that holster myself, i have the comforttac bellyband holster, but I want something a bit more, and this might be it

I’ve got a comfortac. I like it, but I found I had to get larger waisted jeans because the band goes all the way around your waist.

Down side is they are sweaty if it is hot and muggy – welcome to Florida, at 6 am it is already 70 degrees and humidity is 90% just another day in paradise. Florida invented hot and muggy !!!

After 30 plus years of carrying a pistol both on and off duty I have found a belly band that is my EDC holster I tried to put a picture but I am not sure if it will work. The PT pistol wear works well with my Ruger LC9s, even if I have in the 9 round magazine. I have had several belly bands before this and I would only wear them in the winter because they tended to be hot. I use the PT 2. This is still warmer to wear than a inside the waistband holster but less hot than other belly bands by a significant amount. ( this is a personal experience and others may have a different experience) I recommend this holster to all of my clients for these reasons. It is full concealment of the firearm, it can be worn with a wide variety of clothing styles, it has full pistol coverage over the trigger guard, you can carry different types of firearms in one holster, and mine has held up to almost daily wear for 3 years.
I know there are limitations to this holster. It is a slower process of drawing the firearm. The price is reasonable and they look like a back brace if you wear it in the small of your back.
I am NOT associated with this company in any way I just use the product. I would like to see a zipper across the top to secure the firearm for more robust activity. I am also a fan of fanny packs when possible.
