I generally try to stay aware of the spirit of the people around me. When I see the spirit around me escalating in a negative way I generally try to de- escalate it. This feels natural to me. Ignoring it would not make any sense to me and I think it is my purpose in life.

In recent times, when I see civil discourse, I become more aware of my own bias and beliefs. Yet still wish for more peace within our country.
I wonder … “why the in-fighting”, and humbly theorize it’s multifaceted. When a certain political party is in power, the opposite party seems more active on the streets and on social media, TV, news, pop cults.
I’m still perplexed but suspect that “persons who are more influential” - can end up instigating but on mass scale, to their gain - but at the losses others sustain.
Perhaps no one is immune. May we all “not” fall prey to behaving this way.

Minnesota Law reflects the fact when having your EDC with you and nobody else knows you have your EDC, any argument is still an armed confrontation no matter the circumstances.

Bobbyjean. Thank you for your insight. My wife and I were ready to do just that back in February when there was a tremendous push for absolutely insane gun control laws that would turn many law abiding citizens into felons overnight. This state has been a beautiful state years ago with laws favoring gun owners. By the way, the push for insane gun control laws was out voted and failed. Trust me, the embarrassment this Governor put us through this last year has been humiliating. He was called before Congress regarding his sanctuary state policies and Congress ate his lunch. We cannot wait until September 18 when we can start voting him and his administration out. The Governor family does.not support him..

I argue every chance I get. I believe an argument about the important things in life is how we learn. I avoid insulting and calling people names.
