Attorneys on Retainer - Self-Protection Plan - National Announcement

6 in one hand, half a dozen in the other. Delta Defense and USCCA are family members, there’s no getting around that truth; they have the same Founder and CEO. The majors are in the paperwork, structure and function. So, there’s a valid question that has not been answered.

Personally I am with AOR, I used to be with USCCA, I am not knocking USCCA, it is just my personal choice. I just feel a tad bit more comfortable that AOR is not carry insurance in any sense of the word of insurance.

did they finally drive him away???

is so sadden by such… :frowning:

Why is insurance, and the benefits that come with insurance backing, not comfortable to you?

With USCCA membership, the entity that decides (coverage determination, your attorney and the court allowing your attorney to argue self defense) is not the entity that pays (the universal fire and casualty insurance company). You can pick your own attorney, and your attorney being able to argue self defense in court is what determines coverage.

If you go with another setup, is the entity (your attorney) that decides if you are ‘covered’ also the entity that pays/provides no cost service?
