Attorney Gen. in Minni-haha say's Glocks fire 1200 rds a minute!

If that holds true, all journalists and the entire administration are treasonous whores!

designated M134 and known as the “Minigun”, could fire up to 6,000 rounds per minute without overheating. The gun has a variable (i.e. selectable) rate of fire, specified to fire at rates of up to 6,000 rpm with most applications set at rates between 3,000 and 4,000 rounds per minute .

For a comparison, something I have a little bit of experience with…

Right.

Most regular people essentially cannot possess (and nobody can legally really own themselves) full auto Glocks

buying huge collectons, sure, but your standard 07 manufacturers FFL is only $150 per 3 years, the 02 manufacturers SOT status will run you $500 annually. It’s nowhere near as expensive to become an 07/02 as most people think. You are still subject to ATF IOI inspections as an FFL though, all paperwork, A&D books etc, must be kept in compliance. Post samples while nowhere near the cost of legal transferables, still are not cheap by any means. Glock switches, however, are only a couple hundred bucks for an 07/02. If you have a mill and know how to use it you can make one for about $5 in materials. The Biden admin has been trying to crack down on the collector SOTs, but so long as you conduct a handful of transfers a year and operate it as a business, you can pretty much manufacturer whatever you want. no store front required. If you want to know how many are in your area, go pull up the FFL list on ATFs website, i would bet there are a lot more around you than you realize if you are in a relatively free state.

We may have a different idea of what constitutes ordinary people.

An 02 07 manufacturers SOT with all the red tapes and hoops continually jumped through, plus a mill to make a switch, and operating as a business…this isn’t ordinary people to me.

I have never personally known anybody to do so. How many of your IRL friends/family do this?

This is the internet, I’m not divulging that specific of information. But for a real firearms enthusiast? We are talking people that will drop 4-5k on a custom pistol and maybe own a Barrett or something in that ballpark? the cost of an SOT is a drop in the bucket. After you have manufactured the items and they are on your books, you can revert back to an 01/03 and so long as you remain an SOT, the manufactured post samples get to stay in your inventory until the business is dissolved and the FFL is relinquished.

The vast majority of average people do not even know the process of purchasing an NFA item or what a form 1 or form 4 even are, let alone dealing with the paperwork trail to become an SOT. If I have one more person ask me for my “NFA license” it will be too many. Most people in the NFA and transferable communities try to keep it that way on purpose. The more eyes drawn too it the more the government sticks its nose into people’s business. The less people in the transferable market, the lower prices will stay. They are a fixed commodity at this point, with no new MGs being added to the registry, only removed due to damaged serialized parts that cannot be replaced. The government also does not want people to know that there are actually legal means to acquire MGs etc. Hence every politician continually trying to tell you “you cant own a machine gun!”, when in fact, you can.

We just have a different definition of ordinary people lol

Even within firearms enthusiasts as a sub group, we seem to have different levels of disposable income in our social circles

Plus it’s more than having into the tens of thousands of dollars to throw around on a couple of guns, it’s the willingness and ability to deal with all the red tape and requirements of being an FFL and a manufacturer. I don’t know how many people in my area can legally manufacture and possess full auto Glocks…but it’s not going to be a number that to me qualifies as an ordinary thing

I only know 1 SOT that has a G18 clone/switch. they are horribly impractical and are honestly just a novelty and are amusing range toys. Most are more into the SMGs, AK/M16s or Beltfeds. I know a guy with 3 MG42s and sits on an average 100k rounds for them. He drives a beat-up $500 ford ranger from the mid 90s. Most of these people don’t advertise they have money and they definitely do not advertise their MGs to the average person. It’s just begging for people to break into your homes when no one is there to try and steal your stuff. My SOT friend with the glock switch operates his SOT business as a side hustle to just fund his own guns and shooting habits. He has a full-time day job, and he does not advertise his FFL/SOT status to just anyone. Look around some MG message boards, there are probably SOT hosted MG shoots in your area if you are in a free state. Thats how a lot of SOT’s make money off of their post samples, renting range time on them and selling ammo to shoot them.

I was very sad when Knob Creek in Kentucky shut down, their biannual MG shoots were AWESOME. Their night of fire is the one NBC used a few years ago to try and claim was war footage lol

After watching that video, I have less doubt. Not sure what size magazines he was using, but at least 30 and i counted about 2 seconds to empty in the beginning. Slowed noticeably to 3 or so but yeah, 10-20 per second is feasible I suppose.
