Are you willing to lose your $1500.00 handgun?

And in California, do not wear a watch, they attract threats.

Law enforcement is very good at bringing out a filed off SN unless at lot of filing off was done, also there is ballistic tests to get info on a gun used in a previous crime. Then josegh202 has a valid point as well, to each their own, not worth the saving a few dollars to me. That is just my personal humble opinion.:mx_claus:

If I thought I’d be much safer with a $1500 carry gun, I’d carry one. But I still carry an LC9s, and I have two. One I shoot a lot and the other I carry and only shoot occasionally. However, I have thought a little bit about it with my home defense guns. I might still grab the S&W TRR8, but in the QA rifle case is a loaded Henry lever gun. That might be the better choice, anyway. At least my ears will thank me (a little). The TRR8 seems unusually loud and concussive under the awning at the range even with ear pro.

I have a rifle that does that!!!:+1::+1::+1:

No way in hell I’d want to light it off indoors without ear pro though! :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Ohhh,… and I’d hate to loose a $17,000 rifle to an evidence locker!:face_with_peeking_eye:

Oh it wouldn’t be in an evidence locker, you would go to the range and see the arresting officer shooting it!
