These morons are looking for easy targets, attacking in groups of 3 - 4.
If you are lucky, they just beat you up, rob and leave. If you carry, you don’t ask, you shoot.
University of Chicago Trauma Center is near by, so it’s easy for LEOs to find the attackers if you don’t miss.

Sad that a 13 yo died, I remember my son’s at 13, we had fun. The Parents failed to keep the kid educated and safe, I’d shoot too, totally agree with the use of force. God bless you, and Im glad your safe.
Wow, excellent coverage, interviews, discussion, and treatment. Really sad to hear about the owner having a coronary event right afterward. I wish him well. Hopefully, the criminal is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
What I find amazing is that these cases are actually making the news. It got to the point that we would never hear about a good guy/gal with a gun succeeding in a self defense situation. Maybe just maybe American media is coming around a tiny bit.
