My takeaway is stuff burns, it happens, and which fires a particular news outlet chooses to publish as well as what opinion they apply to it is what differentiates them from one another

I can’t say I heard of any of any of this before this thread but the comments felt directed at me so I just did a quick search of cricket farm fore and there are plenty

If ANYTHING was directed it was directed at this Corrupt Administration
Run (supposedly) by a Dementia patient in a suit w/ Puppet strings
going up to a Master America Hating POS and his Twisted Man-wife.
They are attempting a Coup to destroy America so they can rebuild it
with their Socialistic Ideology and Warped Wokeism.

I could go on for chapters but a lot of people see this and they ain’t happy Brother.

Talked to a Venezuelan xpat that I work with. He’s just shaking his head. He said he’s seen all of this before, same words, same courts, same people. He finds it funny that Americans are actually going along with this, “Haven’t they seen what’s going on in South America?”.

Has he mentioned Argentina or the online/forum/book writer FerFal?

Nope, is there something interesting in there?

Quite

I followed it back when it happened and we posted to the same forums.

Then he got out, moved to another more stable country in another continent, and there is a book

My biggest takeaway was: It doesn’t go from normal to mad max. There is likely an in between, where you get the worst of both. Enough breakdown in law and order that violent crime runs rampant and nobody is really safe, but also enough government law present that if you are attacked and defend yourself, expect authorities to show up and be looking at you

Could this be the modern day “Red Dawn” type of invasion? No guns, no tanks, no helicopters just starve us out!
It sorta doesn’t make sense, the enemy will starve as well!

‘The Enemy’ will never starve. That is incorrect.
There are enough ‘supporters’ of this Criminal Regime
to fully support these people to staying safe, fed and in Power

Ask ANY ‘Collaborator’(BEFORE THEY WERE EXECUTED and thrown in a ditch)
WHY? Why? did you support the Nazi’s AGAINST your own people?
Why? did you support Stalin during the ‘Great Purges’?
Because they promised me Safety and Food

I remember reading a bunch of his posts back in the day. Lots of good info about learning to deal with a breakdown in law and order, a failed economic system and corrupt government. Haven’t read the book but I’m sure it would have some good pointers that unfortunately could come in useful someday. There is certainly a lot of rhyming going on with what is happening in the US today and what happened in Argentina back then.

Remember when the news would report about large grain silos exploding because of the grain dust?

I haven’t seen a grain dust explosion myself but I have seen a couple of hay piles start smoldering on their own. They have to be pulled apart and sprayed down before they can burst into flames. Saw the after effects of a trailer full of hay at a rest area where this had happened just last year. The hey had almost completely burned and it had melted the pavement around the truck.

My rancher neighbor who rolls his own hay every now and then has to pull out a bale or two that’s smoldering from his barn.
