As we move into the summer months and I pick up my pace of target shooting and looking around at the ammo prices. It seems that 9mm has settled on 25 cents per round. Going through all the internet place they are the same. Anybody have a secret outlet for lower prices?

As I mentioned before, I think it’s been a BRASS shortage - with all the layoffs during COVID, not enough personnel were on hand to make enough brass - military contracts had to be upheld.

Is it really shortage of anything? Or just typical act of taking advantage of the situation?
Anyway… we can forget about 17 cents per 9mm round and keep wallet happy whenever we find good deal between 22 cents - 25 cents per round.
I’ve been consistent using Turkish ammo for last few years and these days I can find it for around 24.5 cents delivered. Because it’s solid, reliable and clean I’m not looking for anything cheaper.
Gunbroker is a good source of cheap ammo… but you must be patient and keep eyes on auction all the time to get a good deal. In my case it’s not worthy… Time is money. 
So… no secret outlet for low prices… just search for ammo already tested and confirmed to be good.

I was was looking at GunBroker.com and they were the most expensive. But like you say you have to keep an eye out.

I regularly check the Bulk Cheap Ammo (BCA) app - lets you search dozens and dozens of potential sources in a few seconds.

Don’t look for “buy now” at GunBroker, only auctions / bids can give you a chance to get good price.
That’s why patience is needed.

I have gotten some good deals from Lucky Gunner and SG Ammo in the recent past. Both of them ship quickly too.

I didn’t find the BCA app but did find Gun Deals. A quick browse most appear to be similar to SG Ammo.

I get this from OutdoorLimited.com. It’s clean, shoots well, never had a misfire, hang fire, FTF, FTE and ALWAYS exactly 50 rounds in the box. The rounds come in a plastic tray wrapped in a cardboard box. I have used some less expensive brands that just dump the rounds loose in a box and not had the right quantity. Most times it was a couple rounds short. Had a 200 count of Winchester White Box ammo that actually had 5 extra rounds in it. SCORE!! Usually it was short 1 or 2 rounds.
