Just heard on the radio ammo is going up (according to several large manufactures) in 2024 because of a shortage of gunpowder. Part of it is because of two wars going on.

Sounds like a problem. We need ammunition to end the wars. If we don’t have ammo either will murderers. I can’t ignore the elephant in the room. What will murderers use if they can’t use ammo.

Murderers will steal the ammo just like they steal the guns, they also do not go to the range and shoot 50-100 rounds a week

There is plenty of ammo available right now at reasonable prices. You recognize a potential issue, so stock up now and domt worry. Also I might add, ammo almost always becomes scarce and expensive just prior presidential elections.

They will be able to get ammo.
Costs going up won’t stop murderers from having the one mag they need to shove it in an unsuspecting person’s face on the sidewalk
It also won’t stop them from stealing guns and ammo.
And…murderers as well as those guilty of inflicting serious bodily harm use fists, feet, rocks, bludgeons, knifes, etc, plenty often

Reasonable is kinda relative. Ammo prices are down from their peak a couple years ago but still seem about twice as much as what I was paying 5 or so years ago.
Though today’s prices could seem like a bargain a year from now so if you have the money and storage space now could be a good time to buy. There are a few things that might happen to bring prices down in the coming year but seems like a lot more possibilities that could push the prices higher.
