I wanna know if my ccw lets me have a shot gun in my car i live in philly and i cant seem to find a an answer with currwnt laws im a welder not a laywer so when i do find semi updated answers i often leave me confused laws are not written for us!

Ohio law for Ohio is it must be unloaded in the vehicle, even if you have a CHL. Don’t know about any other state.

Can you concealed carry weapons other than handguns in Pennsylvania with a concealed carry license (or under permitless carry if applicable)? Yes. Pennsylvania concealed carry includes any pistol or revolver with a barrel length less than 15 inches, any shotgun with a barrel length less than 18 inches or any rifle with a barrel length less than 16 inches, or any pistol, revolver, rifle or shotgun with an overall length of less than 26 inches. The barrel length of a firearm shall be determined by measuring from the muzzle of the barrel to the face of the closed action, bolt or cylinder, whichever is applicable.

I feel that laws no matter where we live are way to convoluted. They need to be fewer, And written in plain speak. Oh but no we wouldn’t need lawyers then heaven forbid.

In NC. That is something I hadn’t looked at as when on way to range my long guns are bagged up and unloaded. But i need to look at my state laws to see where I stand in case I would want to carry my AR pistol as back up vehicle defense. But pistol may come under same rules as my daily carry. But we will see

Good morning. I appreciated the reply. Sent you an email back but didnt know if it made it to you. Yeah was going to ask my Sheriff about it… But I am sure with CCW I can carry loaded and bagged or otherwise in NC. But never hurts to get a confirm on things. Can go to our AG Website and possibly get such info. Your ideas are very welcome sir also

Yeah, I was talking to David and got on the subject, Checking my Sheriff and AG in NC. But in general usually have my normal carry. But knowlege is power for sure

Yeah, we should definitely check with our locals, our AG, and the statute to be sure that we are in compliance for sure. There’s nothing more comforting than knowing that you are in compliance. That way, we carry with confidence, not second guessing ourselves.
