Help I started posting my favorite movies and I can’t stop
I think I went over 10 ----- sorry
I think of movies that I could watch over and over, and I’ve seen alot in 70 years.
Okay I’ll stop now.
Sounds like a funny movie, from IMDB: Quotes: Deputy Billy Calhoun: What are we gonna do?
Sheriff Bob Fuller: We’re gonna get a time machine, Billy. And I’m gonna go back in time to when my cousin was dating your mother. And then I’m gonna yank his pecker off, right before he has the chance to create an idiot.
Featuring a very young Tom Selleck. Well, maybe not ‘featuring’, but he’s in it!
Our holiday movie tradition runs more along the lines of:
“Santa Claus on Mars” w/Big John Call and a very young Pia Zadora
“The Ref” w/Dennis Leary
“Long Kiss Goodnight” w/everybody
“Die Hard” 1&2
( And if you like Bruce Willis movies, don’t miss “16 Blocks”. Not Christmassy but good.)
“Christmas Vacation”
“Scrooged” w/Bill Murry
“A Christmas Carol” w/George C. Scott
And somebody, somewhere, for Christ’s sake, needs to make “The Night the Reindeer Died”!
Something I just noticed about movie list we have going. There isn’t a single musical on it. Not that I’m complaining. I don’t think any of us talk with a lisp.
Paint Your Wagon
Only one I could think of. I have never seen it, but I have heard of it, as Clint Eastwood is in it. I am too young, but I suspect at least a few of you geezers have.
West Side Story! stage/dvd

A walk in the Woods : (Musical NOT! But awesome Play! Sam Waterson(Law and Oder) and Robert Prosky! (Hill St. Blues) Cold War (2) diplomats just talking! exchanging Grand kids photos, getting down to just them discussing how they don’t want the end of the world on their watch! Has to be on dvd

Rocky Horror Picture Show w/ Tim Curry on stage!/dvd/MOVIE the BEST!

When the World wasn’t stoopid!
I don’t have a huge list, but The Good, The Bad and The Ugly has to be at the top of my list. Of course, Monty Python and the Holy Grail is one I’ve seen about 100 times, along with Pink Floyd The Wall, and I could see them a hundred more. I liked the Dirty Harry series quite a lot.
