I’d just like to say that I’ve appreciated all the feedback and critiques on women’s cc holsters. My thanks to all who have offered opinions. I’m really wanting to check out a Dene Adams corset now. Where does one find them? I’ve never seen them advertised or for sale. Anybody have a good link or other suggestion? Thanks!
@Nancy here you go!
I bought mine direct on their site. But I’ve occasionally seen them offered elsewhere. I’m a fan of the tank style corset since I’m super short waisted, but the regular corset ones are pretty cool. The pro leggings are awesome but not summer wear.
trying out this one today to see how I like it:
it seems well made, sturdy, serviceable. I got the XL as that’s what I usually wear, but probably should have gone down one size. The retention straps are only on the front two gun spots (not the back two) and are very, VERY retentiony - If I were carrying appendix, I’d likely trim back 3/4 of the velcro strap to reduce that as it’s a struggle to get them to release when pulling straight up against the elastic strap.
I’m carrying my Glock G30 .45 about 4:30 today and it’s comfortable, and feels secure. Not a lot of printing with jeans and a loose-fitting heavyier weight men’s polo shirt untucked over it, although I imagine you’d see it if I bent over and you knew what to look for. Haven’t been out of the house yet to deal with the heat and humidity, so we’ll see how I like it later.
Thanks, @Zee! I placed an order just now. Hope it fits – kinda hard to tell the correct sizes. Anyway, I really appreciate you sending the link!
BTW, the Linixu /Jesonlon hip hugger came in the coolest box EVER!
Can’t wear the box, but I might frame it…

When your outfit for the next 6 days consists mainly of this,
there isn’t much concealing of anything. My Sig P365 may be small but it’s not small enough to hide without being noticed in that.

Not to mention that saltwater and sand isn’t the greatest on a firearm.
@lacy
I think you’re going to have to go with the dive knife strapped to your calf…
Oh wait, tan lines
@Zee yep tans lines, can’t have that.
Hi,
I live in Florida as well, in Englewood, about 30-45 minutes away from Sarasota.
I have a S&W M&P .380 Shield EZ, I’m still new to it, but I love this gun. I like that it’s easy to rack it and it’s light-weight.
I was think of the can can belly band as my holster. I have watched lots of videos on how versatile it is.
My only concern was also the heat in Florida is unreal… but I’ll give it a go.
I love my Sig! They are easy to shoot and nt much reciol. There are different kinds of Sigs. Also you can try a 9mm that many woman use. Could be more but I’m pretty new too.
Ok, as my amazing wife and voice of reason for 35 years now says, “you read like a man” . With that said, I heavy skimmed all the posts here but couldn’t find everything I needed.
I train an increasing number of woman now and most everything is taught around drawing from a holster. Most of the woman I teach, including my wife, say they will NEVER (unless it is an EOTW event) wear a holstered firearm. I totally agree, this just isn’t practical based on most woman’s attire.
My wife has a leather purse/bag with a special compartment on the outside, secured by a zipper, to easily access her firearm. So I am familiar with this and borrow her empty bag/purse (sorry, not sure what to call it) to show students as an example in class.
Can someone here bullet point the different options there are and possibly provide a link to where the item can be bought or at least looked into further? American Made would be nice (like the wife’s) but not necessary if there are none for your example. Can you also maybe describe the pros and cons of each.
I know this will take some research, and I have tried looking on my own but just can’t wrap my head around why one would work or not work with certain attire and/or mind set.
Hi Fizbir! Its great to chat with a USCCA Instructer! Right now I have a itty bitty Geminez that fits right between my Breasts. My holster’s brand name is called Flashbang. Its made for dofferent weapons. Mine is described as Luper Law Enforcement S&W Sheild Flashbang Holster. Its a mouth full!I’m tryin’ to buy a S&W Sheild EZ. A coupla weeks ago I found one but when I got there it had been sold!
Haven’t been able to find one since then! Oh yea its made in America which I Love! Man, it has so many sites you can go to for more if ya want.
Oh yea Fizbir the S&W Sheild EZ 9mm! I didnt want ya to think it was a holster.
Gotcha,
I’m doing some copy and paste to add and print as part of my manual. This is exactly the stuff I’m looking for. I have a church woman’s group, a dozen or so ladies who will be taking at least my Concealed Carry and Home Defense course in the next 2 weeks and would love LOTS of options to show/include in the handouts.
Us guys are pretty easy, IWB, OWB, small of the back, not to say the ladies can’t/won’t either, but other than a handful on this forum I have never trained a lady who had any intention of any kind of belt holster.
@Fizbin I have found an excellent holster. Its called a Belly Band. Check it out. Belly Band Holsters | Most Comfortable Belly Band | Alien Gear Holsters
I have shown the belly-band holsters to ladies… They virtually all prefer a purse but mostly are going with a fanny pack. At least I showed a ton of options.
